NEW BABY!!!!!!!

We have a new little addition to our ward. Alisha Fulwood had her baby on thursday. Both mommy and baby are doing well. She had a baby boy, they named him Tobyn. He was 7 lbs 80z
and 21.5 inches long with lots of dark hair. Hope you continue to do well. COnGrATs!!!!!

COOK BOOK

Ok, We are getting excited for our cookbooks, I have been given a lot of great recipes. Please to continue to get them to Gina Eves. By March 15. You have less than one month. We really want to have at least 3 or 4 from every sister in our ward. More if you have them.



We will be celebrating The Relief Society's Birthday in March. Please check back for more details soon.

LaVerkin 3rd, 5th, and 7th ward Enrichment Night is december 4th at 6:00 pm. It is going to be at the Stake Center. We are serving dinner, and having a wonderful program. Hope to see you all there.

THIS SATURDAY IS OUR CHILI COOK OFF!!!!! WEAR COSTUMES, BRING YOUR CHILI, BRING YOUR FAMILIES, AND FRIENDS. SEE YOU AT 5:30PM.

As Fall approaches so does the colder weather. I love the Fall; it reminds me why I love living in Southern Utah. (Although I love the heat). There are a lot of families in our ward who are going to need some help this winter with heat and other things to help them out. If any one has an extra space heater, gas dryer and gas stove please contact sis Lori Arnold. Please make sure appliances are in working order. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you sisters for all that you do.

As many of you probably know, Sister Martinez has had severe migraine headaches for the past year. Recently she began having fainting spells. Last Sunday she went to the ER room and events at that time lead to an MRI which showed a tumor the size of a softball in the back of her head. She was rushed to Provo for surgery and was showing encouraging signs until Tuesday when she suffered a stroke and passed away.

Her funeral will be Monday, October 6th at the Stake Center. Viewing from 9 - 10:30 services at 11 am.

Any sisters that would like to help with jello or macaroni salads or potatoes, please call Lynn Staples at 635-0313.

If anyone wants to help clean up, or would like to contribute financially, all help would be gratefully accepted.
